Rooms
Castaway Cottage at Irish Beach is a two bedroom two bath home that will comfortably sleep 4. The two spacious bedrooms are fitted with comfortable king size beds and there is also a pull out sleeper in the living area. The master suite has the bathroom en-suite and also includes an oversized dual head shower.. You can access the spacious rear deck and hot tub from the master suite as well.
Amenities
The fully furnished Cottage has nearly all the amenities you need to make your stay quite comfortable. The local market is about 5 miles down the road and has a vast selection of items to make sure your culinary needs are fully addressed. Local wines, cheese, meat and a vast amount of other amenities await you.
You can start your stay at the Cottage by venturing down to the gated Private 6 mile beach that continues all the way down to the Point Arena Lighthouse
When you return maybe a soak in the spacious Hot Tub that has incredible stargazing at night, Enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean while you grill on the gas BBQ on the oversized deck
You can also cuddle up next to the gas fireplace and catch your favorite shows, sports etc. on the 50" flat screen television, Dish Network provides the content. There is a generous choice of Bluray movies available to choose from for you as well as the little ones. High Speed Internet is included, Should you choose to enjoy your music we have a wonderful BOSE sound system that you can pair with your Bluetooth enabled devices. Bedrooms are also fitted with Bluetooth devices.
Just a couple minutes up the hill is the Alta Mesa lookout, Venture up there with your adult beverage for an incredible memorable sunset nightly, the views are spectacular.
Rates, Reservations etc.
Rates vary from time to time, but you can expect the nightly rate to be $265.00/nt. to $295.00/nt. with holidays slightly higher. Minimum stays are required, generally 3 nights. The local occupancy tax is 11% and that fee will be charged along with the nightly rate.
Check in time is 3:00 PM and Check out time is 11:00 AM
Castaway Cottage is a No Smoking Home.
Pets are not allowed at the Cottage. It's not that we don't like your furry friends, it's that the weather conditions can be unpredictable and pets will make the experience to the home more challenging.
Housekeeping at the end of your stay is $135.00.
There are special conditions that relate to COVID-19 that include minimum separation time between guests (currently 48 hrs.) as well as single family unit and other conditions that are included in the Rental Agreement. You must agree to these conditions should you wish to stay at the Cottage.
All reservations are booked thru Airbnb.
